Hobby Lobby is having their Grand Opening February 8th (can’t get a total confirmation of this).  They have been really good at keeping the details secret.  Look for more information to be released soon.  The new building is located at 1304 N Canyon Creek Pkwy between Super Walmart and Lowes.

Mountain America Credit Union owns the land at 1308 N Canyon Creek Pkwy.  It is the corner lot in the same shopping center as Hobby Lobby.  Directly across the street at 1351 N Canyon Creek Pkwy, America First Credit Union owns that piece of land.  They have not built anything on either lot so we’ll wait and see what happens.

The old Shopko building has temporarily turned into a COVID-19 vaccination clinic.  The facility is currently servicing about 1,000 people per day, as the number of available COVID-19 doses allows.  Visit the Utah County Health Department website for more details or call 801-861-HELP (4357).

You may have missed the announcement that Spanish Fork City is changing the garbage schedule on February 15, 2021.  Go to Spanish Fork City’s website and click on their main page “Garbage & Recycling” for more information.

Let’s talk about real estate for a minute.  Interest rates are low and housing inventory is even lower! Many qualified buyers are having great difficulties finding a home and are most likely getting into a bidding war and paying over asking for a home.  This is the way the market is in Utah and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.  Utah has the #1 economy in the nation and business and buyers are flocking to our state.  Couple that with low interest rates and an already low inventory and you create the perfect storm that we’re seeing now.  There are new homes being built but not fast enough and many have LONG wait lists.  There are a few builders that do not have wait lists right now and I’d love to help you secure a lot.  Call me and lets get a move on it because they sell out quickly!
