With all the snow we have received, Spanish Fork City is preparing for possible flooding. They have ordered 27,000 sandbags, 80 feet of flood barrier, and 400 feet of muscle wall that Spanish Fork would share with two other cities. They have also prepared by ordering a chipper, chainsaws, blades, chokers, and personal protective equipment early before they were needed. Depending on how quickly the snow melts, determines how high the river runs but in the past, the city typically had two weeks to put things in place before they were at flood level.
