The real estate world has been on a perpetual roller coaster with mortgage interest rates going up more than down leaving buyers and sellers hesitant to make a move.  Many homeowners are being held “hostage” by their low interest rate and would like to move but are fearful of doubling their mortgage payment.  Sellers that need to sell in order to buy their next home need to have a plan on how to do that in this market.  They also need to understand that Utah’s housing inventory is at an all time high given the shortage we’ve had in previous years. Sellers must be willing to incentivize buyers to their home with pristine, uncluttered homes as well as monetary concessions to help buyers buy down their mortgage rates. I’m always available to strategize how to make your real estate goals work in this market!  Reach out to me and let’s get started!
