The Gourmet Way is opening this summer in the Handel’s shopping center at 459 E 1000 N.  According to their Facebook page, they are “Home to All Things Gourmet! Our bakery specializes in French Macarons. We have a huge variety of Gourmet Infused Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars and offer free tasting every day! We also carry an assortment of other gourmet food items!”

Boot Barn is currently under construction directly next to Hobby Lobby on Canyon Creek Drive.  As soon as I get more information, I will update you.

Everbowl is coming to 1291 Canyon Creek Drive.  According to their website, they ‘feature acai and other superfood-based ingredients, each bowl comes with unlimited fresh fruit toppings and healthy super stuff add-ins”.  No grand opening date yet.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza is opening next to Everbowl at 1293 Canyon Creek Drive.  I will let you know when I hear of an opening date.

Reams is building a new store in Spanish Fork at 621 S Main Street.  It’s in the beginning stages of construction next to the Rodeo arena and I will update you as it progresses..

Utah Valley Food Festival is July 16th from 9am-12pm in the Hive parking lot.  It is free to attend but there will be a limited number of “sample passes”.  See their facebook post for more information.

Postal Annex is under construction and will be opening soon at 1285 Canyon Creek Drive.

The Spanish Fork Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market begins July 30 and runs through October 29th from 8am-1pm.  It is located at the Spanish Fork Justice Center at 775 W Center Street.  Come support your local farmers and bakers.  

Texas Roadhouse will be opening around the middle of this month.  Stay tuned for more information!

Fiesta Days begins July 9th with many activities running throughout the month.  Some highlights include:

The real estate world has slowed down. Homes are sitting on the market longer, have less showings, less offers, and aren’t going over asking like they have in the past.  If you’re a buyer, this is your time to get into a home!  Rising interest rates coupled with more housing inventory have quickly cooled the hot market.  This is good news!  We needed something to slow down the unsustainable housing market.  While it seems like a drastic change, we are still in a seller’s market.  Homes now sell in about a week vs a day.  A balanced market is when we have 6 month of inventory.  In June 2022, we had 1.39 months of inventory compared to June 2021 at 1.18 months of inventory. The mortgage world has a saying floating around “Marry the house but date the rate”.
