June 2022 - Spanish Fork Happenings

Dirty Dough just put up signs for a new store located at 1289 N Canyon Creek Drive. They specialize in “selling cookies for real life, which can get a little messy”.

America First Credit Union is currently under construction next to Popeyes.

The Spanish Fork Library started their Summer reading program for adults, teens, and children.  Their website has all the information to sign up at: https://www.spanishfork.org/news_detail_T17_R381.php

Black Rifle Coffee Company just opened at 713 E 800 N next to Maverik and In N Out.  Their website states it is “a veteran-founded coffee company serving premium coffee to people who love America”.

JDawgs is currently under construction in the same shopping center as Handels. It will feature a drive through as well as indoor seating.  I’ll keep you posted on the grand opening date.

Preloved is a gently used thrift and consignment store.  According to their Instagram page, they are “THE Finnish boutique thrift market. Rent a booth, tag your own prices & LEAVE to sell!  They are located in the old Jazzercise building on 100 N.

Buckle opened last week next to TJMaxx at 1213 N Canyon Creek Drive.

Zao Asian Cafe should be opening soon as they complete the new building next to Black Rifle Coffee Company.  As soon as I hear of a grand opening, I’ll post to my social media pages.

Don’t forget the Food Truck League is hosting Food Truck Fridays in the Library park from 5-8:30pm all Summer long.  Check out their Instagram page to see the variety of trucks each week.

Paperback Book Exchange has moved locations and had a re-grand opening.  They are now located at 245 S Main Street.

Parade of Homes starts June 9 and runs through June 25th.  Homes are open Tuesday through Saturday noon-9pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.  I am able to purchase tickets at a discount of $16 each vs $20 through their website. DM me to secure your tickets! For all the details, go to their website https://uvparade.com/web/

Be sure to come say hello, grab some water, and enter to win a prize at my booth at the Pyromusical in July.  If you’ve never been, you’re missing out on the best fireworks show in the valley!  Come enjoy the food trucks, a live band, and the fireworks show set to music. Bring your blanket and family for a fun event!

The real estate market is leveling out which is fantastic news!  We have more inventory which is a welcome relief to many buyers.  Interest rates have leveled out a bit as well and it’s still a great time to buy a home.  Many experts agree that Utah is not going to see home prices coming down anytime soon.  We still have a huge demand for housing and as long as demand is there, prices will stay high.  Let’s make a plan to get you into your first home, bigger home, or dream home this year!  Give me a call!

  2. I’ve made phone calls and searched the internet and city website, but can’t find info on what is happening with the old KMart building on highway 6 in Spanish Fork. Do you have any info? Thanks for always being on top of things.
