Spanish Fork City is continuing their Green Spring Clean Up but this year instead of dumpsters, they are giving each residence 3 – $10 vouchers to take your items to the transfer station in Springville. Did you know that you can buy tickets online NOW for the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days rodeo in July? I suggest getting them now as they will likely sell out. Go here for more information. In case you hadn’t noticed, interest rates have risen quickly! They were predicted to be around 3.75% by the end of 2022 and they have passed that mark already. But they are still at historically low rates! The problem that will continue is Utah’s low housing inventory. If you’ve been looking for a home, there aren’t many to buy (14 TOTAL on the market in Spanish Fork as of this writing)! As we have a shortage of inventory, coupled with rising interest rates, you begin to squeeze most buyers out of the market. This will naturally slow down the market as we do not have enough qualified buyers.
