The real estate market has started to relax. We are seeing less showings, less offers, and a stabilization in the market. Typically, when school starts until after Christmas, we see a natural slow down in listings and purchases. We haven’t seen a huge reduction in home prices though. As 2022 comes into sight, we will likely see interest rates increase at a gentle pace. A buyer might qualify for a certain price point now and as rates rise, that purchasing power decreases. It still is a great time to buy with those low interest rates. If you’re thinking of buying and don’t know how much you qualify for, I can help with referrals to lenders. That truly is the first step in buying a home and all your decisions will be based on that conversation with a lender. If you’re thinking of selling a home, with less inventory in this quarter of 2021, it might prove to be a great time to maximize your profit. Please reach out to me and we can talk about your real estate needs!
